Man Fatally Struck By Train At Fanwood Station: NJ Transit

A man was fatally struck by a train near Fanwood Station on Thursday, Jan. 18, NJ Transit said.

At 7:21 p.m., the Raritan Valley Line train 51510, which had departed Raritan at 6:49 p.m., fatally injured the male pedestrian, NJ Transit said.

There were no injuries to anyone on board, NJ Transit said. Raritan Valley Line service was suspended in both directions, NJ Transit said. New Jersey Transit police are investigating.
